Almana Exchange W.L.L. serves tourists and the large expatriate resident community in Qatar providing currency exchange at competitive rates and remittances to nearly every country. We currently serve some nearly 12,000 customers on a monthly basis, remitting an average of QR 35 million a month.

Of immense importance is our enduring relationship with Bank of India, whose management stake in Almana Exchange W.L.L. is of great benefit to our customers. Indian expatriates in the country can directly remit funds by ‘Speed Remit’ or by drafts through Almana Exchange to nearly 3,000 Bank of India branches, or to over 4,000 branches of other banks having RTGS/NEFT facility in India. Moreover, Bank of India has a worldwide presence through its 25 overseas branches.

Our agency arrangement with UAE Exchange allows transfer of money to any bank in India via Express Transfer. We also have additional banking relationships to benefit our clients who remit to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, and other Asian and Middle East countries. Almana Exchange is a direct agent of Western Union, allowing us to transfer money worldwide within minutes.

Optimum customer satisfaction drives our business and our competitive rates are a hallmark of our service. For the convenience of our customers, the Exchange House stays open seven days a week at its branches in Souq Hamad near the Q-Tel Signal, and Almana Towers on Airport Road. We are currently at the planning stages of operating new branches.
