Almana Exchange W.L.L., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Almana Group. was established in 1979 . Almana Group is a prestigious group established in 1960 with its presence in every field from automotive to contracting, computer services to real estate, travel to offshore services and so on. No visitor or resident of Qatar can remain untouched with the activities of the Group companies in one way or the other.

Bank of India, a premier Nationalised Bank in India, is having its Management stake in Almana Exchange W.L.L since 2006, with its very experienced and competent personnel deployed to head the Branches and the Exchange. Over a period the Exchange has expanded its business activities of remittances and currency exchange, both geographically and in terms of volumes, through its three branches operating from following locations:

Indian expatriates or any person, desirous of remitting funds to India, can directly remit funds by Speed Remit through Almana Exchange to bank accounts maintained with any branch of a commercial bank in India or take a demand draft drawn on Bank of India payable anywhere in India.

Almana Exchange is having arrangement with Asia United Bank Corporation in Philippines and Peoples Bank in Sri Lanka for remittance of funds to bank accounts in the respective countries.

The exchange is also having “Bank to Bank “ remittance facilities for the countries of Nepal , Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hongkong, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam through renowned service providers like XPRESS Money, ARY Speed Remit and IME.

Almana Exchange, through its arrangement with Western Union, XPRESS Money, City Express, ARY Speed Remit and IME , also provides its clients Cash pick up facility by which remitter can send the money worldwide.
