The Almana Group started operations in early 1960. Looking back, we are proud of our achievements and thankful to all those individuals who contributed to the success of our Group through their hard work, diligence and dedication.

With its rich oil and gas reserves, Qatar has witnessed tremendous development and growth in the last few decades. Realizing Qatar's potential, the Government spared no effort in placing this small country on the fast track and by taking the right measures helped the country earn international recognition.

Going along with the country's development, we were quick to grasp opportunities in various activities and grew rapidly as a result of our forward business objectives. From a small trading house, the Group now covers a broad spectrum of business activities that range from projects handling to contracting, interior decoration to computer services, fast food operations to insulation engineering, offshore services to telecommunications, real estate to vehicle dealerships, etc., and we have also ventured outside the boundaries of Qatar.

Through the representation of some of the biggest companies in the world, our Group was, and is still, involved in some of the largest multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects undertaken in Qatar. A few of these projects that were completed recently will be the mainstay of this country's economy for years to come.

We are proud of our achievements, but far from resting on our laurels, continue to look at new opportunities and new international alliances to expand the Group's activities.
