On 8th May 2018, staff members and management at Coca-Cola Almana (CCAM) gathered at its facility in New Industrial Area to celebrate 132 years of the iconic brand. To mark the occasion, CCAM thanked the team for their continued efforts to grow the brand in the Qatar market, before a fun quiz to test their knowledge about the history of Coca-Cola and its products. After the winners were awarded a variety of great prizes, a number of hard working employees were recognized and honoured for their extraordinary commitment to excellence, service and performance. The ceremony was then concluded with a cake cutting.
To coincide with the celebrations, Coca-Cola Almana also expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Schweppes +C, an effervescent, lemon-flavored beverage with added Vitamin C. Schweppes +C is now available in all leading supermarkets and hypermarkets in Qatar and each can contains approximately 83mg of Vitamin C to refresh and energise consumers. As part of the product launch, the Coca-Cola Almana team held a sampling activity in numerous well-known supermarkets and hypermarkets, giving people the opportunity to taste this unique and refreshing beverage. The new product was well received by excited customers who enjoyed the unique taste and recognised the high quality that Coca-Cola is synonymous with.
CCAM is a subsidiary of Almana Group, which was launched in Qatar in 1986. On 10th October 2016, CCAM launched a state-of-the-art facility in New Industrial Area in which locally manufactured Coca-Cola products are distributed throughout the country.
